William Nightingale Memorial Library
Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County · Utah
A college library is a moving target, and Westminster's has wandered. For decades this building—named in memory of William T. Nightingale—held the school's books and reading rooms, the quiet heart of a small campus. Then in 1997 the collection moved again, into the new Giovale Library, a gift from Ginger Gore Giovale, daughter of the Bill and Vieve Gore honored just steps from here. So the two markers tell one family's story: parents who endowed the business school, a daughter who gave the library that retired this one.
