Milo Andrus Home
Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County · Utah
Erected by NA
Milo Andrus was one of the workhorse pioneers of the Latter-day Saint migration — an early convert who crossed the plains himself and then led company after company of emigrants west, shepherding others over the same hard road. Like many leading men of his generation and faith, he headed a very large polygamous household. His home, preserved at this heritage park, represents that middle tier of pioneer leadership: not the prophets whose names everyone knows, but the experienced trail captains who actually got thousands of ordinary Saints to the valley.
