Lyric Theatre
Logan, Cache County · Utah
Erected by NA
The Lyric opened as a theater in 1913, built by the Thatcher brothers, George and B. G., of Logan's prominent banking family. For a century it has stayed in the business it was born to, its life renewed along the way by Utah State University together with the Thatchers and the wider community. Today the university runs it, and the Lyric Repertory Company fills its summers with plays — one of the longest-running stages in the state, still lit on Logan's Center Street.
