Lehi Pioneer Cemetery
Lehi, Utah County · Utah
Erected by NA, 1950
Every pioneer town has one of these — the old cemetery where the first generation lies, the people who broke the ground and didn't live to see the town it became. Lehi's, marked here in 1950, holds its founding settlers. These pioneer burying grounds are quietly among the most honest historical sites in Utah: no interpretation, no reconstruction, just the names and dates of people who came to a hard place and stayed for good. A cemetery doesn't romanticize. It simply records who was here, and when they left.
