Historical Marker
Enoch's Pub & Café
Monroe, Ouachita County · Louisiana
Erected 2024
The pub's owner is also the force behind the markers. Enoch Doyle Jeter, whom the Monroe Free Press describes as heading the Northeast Louisiana Music Trail, and Yvette Jeter opened Enoch's on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1980. This is marker 16 of a trail that reached 28 in February 2026 with a Richwood marker originally meant to be first. Jeter has said the trail aims to teach the area's history, good or bad. Other Ouachita Parish stops include Webb Pierce's corner in West Monroe and the old Savoy Ballroom building.
