Welcome to Breaux Bridge
Breaux Bridge, St. Martin County · Louisiana
Erected 2021
Look up a name in the old Breaux Bridge telephone directory and you may need a nickname, because the book has long been known for listing residents that way. The town has a habit of producing performers, too: guitarist Sonny Landreth and saxophonist Branford Marsalis are on its list of notable people, alongside educator Lottie Beebe and the politicians Scott Angelle and Fred Mills Jr. Breaux Bridge was home to 443 people at the 1880 census.
