Broussard, Lafayette County · Louisiana
Erected 2022
The Valsin Broussard House belongs to a set. On March 14, 1983, the National Register listed Broussard's buildings together as a Multiple Resource Area: the Alesia, the Billeaud, Roy-LeBlanc, Comeaux, St. Julien and Valsin Broussard houses, the Ducrest Building, the Janin Store, St. Cecilia School and, as a district, East Main Street. Ten properties were listed individually. The register gives the house's address as 408 West Main, two numbers from the marker's. Several stand on North Morgan Avenue: Alesia at 108, the Martial Billeaud Jr. House at 118 and the Janin Store at 123.
