Jefferson Hotel
Shreveport, Caddo County · Louisiana
B & T Construction Company built the four-story brick hotel in 1922 to a design by H. E. Schwartz, and it served travelers from Union Depot, which stood across the street until it was demolished in 1972. Alterations to the exterior have been minimal since construction. The National Register listed the hotel on July 27, 1989, and in 1997 it became a contributing property of the Shreveport Commercial Historic District when that district's boundaries were expanded.
