All Saints Episcopal Church
DeQuincy, Calcasieu County · Louisiana
This church was a traveler before it was a landmark. Built in 1885 as Holy Trinity at Patterson, in south Louisiana, it outlived its congregation and stood unused for years. In 1942 the All Saints congregation bought it, took it apart, and moved it roughly 160 miles to DeQuincy, where it went back together slowly and a bishop reconsecrated it in 1946. Wikipedia calls the style Carpenter Gothic. Since 2023 a nondenominational congregation, Set Free Fellowship, has held services in the same frame, which has now sheltered at least three congregations.
