Old Roosevelt Road Bridge
Little Rock, Pulaski County · Arkansas
Erected 2022
This small concrete bridge carries Roosevelt Road over a drainage ditch on Little Rock's southeast side. Dixon and Dixon of Warren, Arkansas, built it in 1935 on a contract of $8,226.54, part of the Little Rock City Connection that gave drivers a more direct route between U.S. 65 and U.S. 70 without passing through downtown. It is a single-span reinforced concrete deck girder set at a 50-degree skew, with guardrail spindles in Art Deco style, and plaques at each end read Dixon and Dixon, Contractor, 1935. A 2025 National Register nomination describes it as unaltered since it was built.
